The good news mixed into the changes to NASA's plans

Also on the agenda is development of the technology for in-space fuel depots, a concept raised by the Augustine panel as a way to stretch launch capacity for travel beyond LEO.
With the constellation program dead, there won't be any people on the moon any time soon, but long term, in-orbit refueling is the key to economic intra-system space travel. This is good news.
